Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms," "EULA") govern your access to and use of Steecky, a macOS application ("App") developed and operated by Steecky Labs ("we," "our," or "us").

By downloading, installing, or using Steecky, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

These Terms are in addition to, and do not replace, any terms imposed by Apple in connection with your use of the Mac App Store. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Steecky Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Steecky on any Mac device that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

This license does not include the right to:

• Sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, or otherwise commercially exploit the App
• Use the App on behalf of a third party in a manner not contemplated by these Terms
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the App

The App is licensed, not sold. Steecky Labs retains all right, title, and interest in and to the App.

3. Restrictions

You agree not to, directly or indirectly:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Use the App to infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or any systems or networks connected to it
• Use the App to capture clipboard data from third-party applications in a manner that violates those applications' terms of service or applicable laws

4. Subscription & Billing

Certain features of Steecky ("Pro Features") are available only through a paid auto-renewing subscription ("Steecky Pro"). By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

Subscription Plans

• Steecky Pro Monthly (app.steecky.pro.monthly): $3.99 USD per month, auto-renewing, 1-month subscription period
• Steecky Pro Yearly (app.steecky.pro.yearly): $39.99 USD per year, auto-renewing, 1-year subscription period (equivalent to approximately $3.33/month)

Prices are subject to change. We will provide reasonable advance notice of any price changes through the App or App Store.

Billing

Subscriptions are processed and managed by Apple through the Mac App Store. Your payment method on file with Apple will be charged at the start of each subscription period. Steecky Labs does not receive, store, or process your payment details.

Auto-Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.

5. Free Trial

New users may start a 7-day free trial of Steecky Pro directly in the app. During the trial period, you have full access to all Pro Features at no charge.

No payment method is required to start the trial, and you will not be charged automatically when it ends. When the trial expires, Pro Features are locked until you purchase a Steecky Pro subscription through the Mac App Store.

The free trial is available once per user and may not be available in all regions. Legacy users who are long-time Steecky supporters may receive an extended complimentary Pro access period as communicated separately.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your Steecky Pro subscription at any time by visiting your Apple ID account settings or through the Mac App Store. Upon cancellation:

• Your Pro access will continue until the end of the current billing period
• You will not be charged for the next billing period
• Your data remains on your device and is not affected by cancellation

All refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. Steecky Labs does not issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

7. Intellectual Property

Steecky and all content, features, and functionality therein — including but not limited to the software, source code, design, text, graphics, logos, icons, and the arrangement thereof — are the exclusive property of Steecky Labs and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The Steecky name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Steecky Labs. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

Feedback you submit about the App may be used by us freely without any obligation to you.

8. Your Content

All notes, tasks, code snippets, links, and other content you create within Steecky ("Your Content") remains yours. We do not access, claim ownership of, or transmit Your Content.

You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to store and use Your Content within the App, and that Your Content does not violate the rights of any third party or any applicable law.

Because all data is stored locally on your Mac, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. Steecky Labs is not liable for any loss of Your Content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Steecky Labs does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that defects will be corrected, or that the App or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STEECKY LABS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

IN NO EVENT SHALL STEECKY LABS' TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO STEECKY LABS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $10 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability for certain types of damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Steecky at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason.

You may terminate your use of Steecky at any time by deleting the App from your Mac. Upon termination, the license granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law — will survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Steecky Labs is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction in that same jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Steecky Labs may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our App or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

If changes are material, we will provide notice through the App or via App Store release notes. Your continued use of Steecky after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the App and cancel any active subscription.
